The name Mystery Skype ignites excitement and suspense within students. On Friday, October 30th the 5th grade students in Mrs. Borgquist's class did a Mystery Skype with students in Texas.
The students did not just randomly ask questions, but everyone had a job to do during the Skype and was expected to be on their game!

Students worked in groups in the following jobs: questioner, speaker, researcher, recorder, and mapper. As the class alternated questions with their mystery friends they were busy researching questions to ask, and trying to use the answers to find the mystery location.
Students were disappointed that their location was discovered first, but they did correctly solve the mystery that they were skyping with South Marshall STEM Academy in Marshall, Texas.
